Promotion: “Show Us Your Quote! If We Can’t Beat It, We’ll Give You $200!”

Alegre Construction Group offers qualifying homeowners the opportunity to submit a legitimate competitor’s written construction estimate for comparison. If Alegre Construction Group is unable to provide a lower written price for substantially equivalent work, the qualifying homeowner will receive $200, subject to the following terms.

1. Promotional Period

The promotion runs through December 31, 2026, unless ended early or extended by Alegre Construction Group. Qualifying submissions must be received during the promotional period and will be evaluated under the terms in effect when submitted.

2. Who Can Participate

• Participants must be at least 18 years old and be the property owner or authorized representative of the property owner.
• The project must be a residential construction or remodeling project located within Alegre Construction Group’s service area.
• The competing estimate must total at least $5,000.
• The project must be one Alegre Construction Group is qualified, licensed, and available to perform.
• Roofing and commercial projects are excluded.
• Projects that have already started, been completed, or are under an executed construction contract are not eligible.

3. Requirements for Competing Estimates

• Estimates must be written, itemized, and dated within the previous 30 calendar days when submitted.
• Estimates must be issued by an independent contractor who holds any licenses, registrations, and insurance legally required to perform the proposed work in Virginia.
• Estimates must identify the contractor, project location, proposed scope of work, materials, and total price.
• Verbal estimates, fabricated estimates, estimates from affiliated parties, and estimates with unverifiable pricing are not eligible.
• Alegre Construction Group may verify a submitted estimate with the contractor who issued it.

4. Comparing Estimates

• Estimates must cover substantially comparable scope of work, materials, quality, labor, and specifications.
• Necessary project costs, including permits and applicable taxes, must be accounted for consistently.
• Differences in materials, specifications, or required code-compliance work may be considered when determining whether estimates are comparable.
• Alegre Construction Group may inspect the property when reasonably necessary to prepare an accurate estimate.

5. How the $200 Offer Works

Alegre Construction Group will review the competing estimate and prepare its own written estimate for the proposed work. If Alegre cannot offer a lower written price for substantially comparable work, the eligible participant will receive $200, subject to these terms and successful verification.

Participants are not required to hire Alegre Construction Group or sign a construction agreement to receive an approved payment.

6. Exclusions

In addition to the restrictions above, the following are excluded:

• Emergency restoration projects and insurance-carrier-controlled claims.
• Projects outside Alegre Construction Group’s service area or that Alegre cannot reasonably inspect, price, permit, or perform.
• Labor-only estimates that cannot be fairly compared with a complete construction proposal.
• Fraudulent, fabricated, misleading, or unverifiable submissions.

7. Payment

• The maximum payment is $200 per eligible household and project.
• Multiple estimates for the same project do not qualify for multiple payments.
• Approved payments will be issued within 15 business days after the estimate and eligibility have been verified and the comparison is complete.
• No purchase or signed construction agreement is required to receive an approved payment.
• Material misrepresentations or fraudulent submissions will result in disqualification.

8. Promotion Administration

Alegre Construction Group will evaluate submissions using documented, consistently applied criteria. The promotion is subject to applicable Virginia law. Alegre may end or extend the promotion prospectively, subject to the promotional-period terms above.
